Grown Up Christmas Wish

I added a new song to my playlist when you visit. 2 of my favorite holiday songs. The Grown Up Christmas Wish made me stop and think. What is my Grown Up Christmas Wish this year. So here are a few of my requests:

1. I wish to spend the holidays with my family. I am going to fulfill this one as Ron, Kylie and I are heading up to my brother's house for the holidays. My parents are flying home from Arizona and we all are going to celebrate my nephew's first Christmas. Nothing is more precious than spending time with family during the holidays. I have had too many friends who have lost their parents this year so I am going to cherish every waking minute of it. My daughter is in count down mode until she gets to see her Grandparents.

2. I hope to still see the excitement of the season on my daughter's face. Although earlier this year she let Ron and I know that she is on to the Santa thing we are making sure she still believes. Our home will be decorated with BELIEVE all over. We are also making sure she knows the true meaning of this season. Although times are bad and money is tight we are making sure she knows it is better to give than to recieve. We are adopting a family that is worse off than ourselves and we will do all we can to make sure they know people care. We are also making sure she knows the REAL meaning of Christmas.

3. My final wish is for you. If you are reading this than that means you have impacted my life in a meaningful way. I wish for you all that this season means and that your memories will last a life time. Cherish these times. Although we often worry about what to serve, what to buy and when we should all get it done take time to reflect, remember and create. ENJOY and BELIEVE! Also take a moment to listen to the song I have on this blog.....
