Kylie gives Back!

We go through life trying not to end up like our parents. As hard as we might try we end up doing something or saying something that we have heard in our past. For instance my mother was the PTA president at Denkmann when Brian and I were there. She was a room mom and volunteered her time in so many different aspects of our lives. I am walking the same path. Now my daughter came to me a few weeks ago and I am finding she too has a big heart to give back of herself. She is the Secretary of Denkmann's Student Council and she is taking it very seriously too. They are currently accepting donations of can goods and or money to purchase food for the upcoming Student Food Drive to fill our local food pantry. So she chose to go this year as a non perishable food item and instead of trick or treating for candy she is going door to door to ask for a non perishable food items, and can goods. She is so excited to see if neighbors participate. So if you are reading this and live near 28th Avenue have a few spare cans near your door next Friday night. If you want to contibute to her efforts give me a call and we will stop by and pick them up!! You will have to wait to see her costume. Thanks for all the Toliet Paper rolls.....her costume and me thank you!!!
