The Making of a pumpkin....all by hand

So when I set out to do this whole daily adventure or trying something new thing I got an email from Beth Ducey wanting me to learn how to make Stain Glass window ornaments. Let me preface this by saying that Beth is the most artistic and talented people I know. She is a master designer of trees at the Festival of Trees and she is the one who got us to do our own tree for Denkmann and gave us all the tips. So we arranged to meet today to learn the skill of stain glass. She thought me making a pumpkin would be appropriate. I agreed. At 1pm she brought all her supplies to my house and I learned how to cut, break glass and create something. Believe me I would have never had the vision she had to make this work. Below are pictures from my afternoon. Thank you Beth for stepping up and giving me a task that I would have NEVER tried any other time. Your friendship, although new, has been rewarding.
